Does Nose Size Dictate Facial Attractiveness?

I'm not talking about real bruisers who can genuinely mess up a face, but usually, other facial features aren't great either. But why, if a nose is even slightly wide or long, is it already considered unattractive and "could do with rhinoplasty"? From what I've noticed, almost all celebrities have good, small noses, either naturally or surgically altered, does the nose really make that much of a difference even when the rest of the facial features are unremarkable? And if the face is beautiful, but the nose doesn't fit the ideal, can such a face only be called attractive at most? My own example - I'm quite cute, definitely not ugly, my close ones sometimes say: "if your nose was narrower, you'd be very attractive, but as it is..." I don't have the money for plastic surgery, but I'm curious, is the nose really the deciding factor of facial beauty?

Considering Rhinoplasty Due to Childhood Bullying: Thoughts?

Since childhood, I've hated my nose, it's very long, wide, and even has a hump. At school, they often laughed and teased, I remember well, in a group we played a game, the task was to draw each other, and one "friend" drew me with a huge snout, everyone laughed and said it was my spitting image. And there were many similar situations. Now I'm 28, apart from my nose I see no flaws in myself, no one says anything about it, many consider me beautiful, no problems related to appearance. But the complex from childhood remains. There's an opportunity to have surgery, but I'm afraid of the process, the consequences, the judgement. Would you have a nose job in my case, having the opportunity to do so?

Struggling with Self-Image After Unsuccessful Cosmetic Surgery

Girls, I don't recognise myself in the face. Some horrible wench in the mirror. At first, I was hoping that my nose would get smaller, everything would form. But instead of a lovely girl, Baba Yaga is looking at me. I don't go to work, my boyfriend dumped me. I live off the rent from my flat. My life has been reduced to buying groceries at night, skyping with relatives in dim light. If I used to go out running, now I exercise in front of the TV. I seem to be living okay, but if I need to go outside, I literally start to feel sick from fear. I don't go near the mirror. About me: my face used to be doll-like, my nose neat, slightly humped. I see no way out. I don't want a second operation. Once was enough.

Deviated Septum: Seeking Free Rhinoplasty for Breathing Issues

I have a deviated septum, or more precisely, a small bump on my nose. The nose itself is perfect - the tip of the nose points upwards, the bump is also small and only noticeable up close. Firstly, I'm extremely self-conscious about it. Secondly, I have problems with my respiratory tract, my nose is constantly blocked, I find it hard to breathe, I've gotten into the habit of breathing through my mouth since I was 9-10 years old, it got worse in my teenage years and now I'm even starting to feel short of breath, my lungs are really lacking oxygen. I can't use nasal drops for long as my nose starts to get irritated and swell, and my head hurts. It's really hard. I don't know if I was born with this nose or maybe I broke it somewhere, as a child I often bumped my nose and blood flowed from it. Is it possible to get a free rhinoplasty to correct the respiratory tract and remove the bump?

Post-Rhinoplasty Concerns: Nose Shape Not Improving After a Month

Good evening to all! Can anyone calm me down, as I'm beside myself. In short, a month ago I had a rhinoplasty, they said that closer to a month, the nose would be more or less normal, it would take shape, the swelling would subside, but mine has only gotten worse. Not only is the bridge of my nose wide, but the tip is also lifted upwards, plus it's as round as a tennis ball. My facial features are sharp and I look like Pumuckl from the cartoon, this nose doesn't suit me. I'm beside myself, thinking about quitting my job altogether. I have a doctor's appointment on Monday, but I'm sure he won't say anything other than to wait, but judging by the results of everyone's work, few people's noses change significantly in half a year🤕and in a year too.

Considering Rhinoplasty: Experiences, Results and Complications?

Good day to all. I've been unhappy with my nose all my life. Large nostrils and a bit of a bump. I'm petite and against the backdrop of a small, thin face, this nose looks simply awful. It ruins my appearance. Has anyone had rhinoplasty? Are you satisfied with the result? Were there any complications? I, of course, understand that a lot also depends on the specialist. But I still want to hear what others think about this. I'm torn between wanting it and fearing it.

Diprospan for Non-Surgical Nose Adjustments: Any Experiences?

I found out online about a new method where you can remove, say, a bump on the nose, if it's made of cartilage, without surgery, using the drug Diprospan. Has anyone tried doing this for themselves? I've read on forums that some people get it injected after rhinoplasty when they need a slight adjustment. But I'd be overjoyed to make just a tiny adjustment to my nose. No need to advertise regular rhino, I have contraindications. This is my last hope. I haven't found a single real review, has anyone tried doing this for themselves?

Recovery Time After Extensive Rhinoplasty: Personal Experiences Needed

I want to have a rhinoplasty. Most likely, the revision will be extensive: shorten the nose, remove the hump, straighten the septum. How long will the rehabilitation take? In terms of when the bruises will completely disappear, a little swelling is fine. I want to return to work looking normal, not as if I've just been beaten up in a back alley. Will a month be enough? Has anyone had a similar operation? How was it for you?
